Asuka has been teasing the return of a dark and twisted gimmick for some time. Tonight, the former champion brought back her old look during the Royal Rumble premium live event.

Asuka returned after months of in-ring absence during the Royal Rumble tonight. The charismatic star brought back her KANA gimmick, complete with an all new entrance music at the event.

Asuka entered the match as the 17th entrant. She destroyed multiple opponents upon entering the ring. Asuka confronted Bayley, who was visibly shocked to witness the arrival of her one-time rival.

For those wondering, Asuka was last seen on WWE television in December 2022. She squared off and lost to Rhea Ripley on the December 12, 2022, edition of the red brand.
